Most of the activities for the event have leaders now. The planning sheet was in an email to those of you that have given your email addresses to Meneta in case you no longer have it, click here. If you have an interest in something, email Meneta, and you will probably get the chance to help.
Check back here for updates and more information that is still to come.

The latest:
Please let Meneta know if you think of things I need to add to this
communication or if you have updates from your parish or planning group.
Meeting: Meneta will be meeting with the communication
and activities groups soon to further plans. For now, the whole planning
group will not gather again until closer to the event, perhaps the second half
of August.
Activities: Mia Kivlighan has volunteered to work with Kate Cianciolo and Emily Clough to plan the activities for the not-packaging shift.
Fundraising: Each parish should make a plan for fundraising
and let Meneta know by June 15. Each parish can write its own check to
Stop Hunger Now. However, each parish needs to communicate with Meneta
about fundraising amounts so that if we raise more than $4,000, we can make
plans for the extra funds (more meals packaged, mosquito netting, local food
bank, etc.).
Communication: Communicate to all parishes in
convocation by May 31. Generate notices and reminders that each parish
can post in their Sunday bulletins or announce, post in other fashions.
Notices and reminders might include a blurb about the event and date, reminder
about fundraiser plans, reminder about registration, etc. Notices might
also have information about the MDGs. The communication group (Marty,
Shane, Meneta) will send notices to the email group that can be used as
reminders for each parish or adapted to include individual parish needs.
